Namesake

Governor Scott M. Matheson

Matheson Junior High School is named after Utah’s Governor, Scott M. Matheson. Although Governor Matheson is no longer alive, the Matheson family has been very supportive and encouraging of our school and its students, and as a school, both students and staff, we strive to act and live in such a manner as would make our namesake proud and this we call…

The Matheson Way
